The Full-Stack Systems Engineer helps build Nora and Nora Studio, and the software factory that builds them.
The role is about systems engineering, good judgement and quality. You will shape a software factory, with AI agents doing much of the coding, that delivers more output and more learnings per cycle while keeping the defect rate low.
About the role
What you will be doing:
Design how Nora's components fit together: workflows, services, data contracts, APIs, integrations and the user interface.
As part of a multidiscliplinary team, build features across backend, frontend and infrastructure, taking them from a vague problem to running software that someone relies on.
Contribute actively to product and sprint planning, including scoping, estimates and trade-offs. Communicate clearly with colleagues and clients, getting ideas and trade-offs across without hiding behind jargon.
Maintain a solid system architecture and keep engineering best practices consistent, including testing, code quality and security. Make design choices that keep the system reliable, scalable and maintainable as Nora grows.
Help shape the team's software factory: specs that agents can build from, review loops, automated tests and safe releases.
Skills you will need to have:
Several years of hands-on experience writing, shipping and running production software across backend, frontend and infrastructure, and able to take on complex problems independently.
Strong practical experience with TypeScript, React, AWS and PostgreSQL.
Strong systems thinking: able to see the whole flow and where it will break. Good grasp of software architecture, integration patterns and data modelling.
An understanding of security best practices and what matters in a regulated business; an understanding of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, observability, authentication and multi-tenant data.
Able to design, course-correct and trust their own way of working, so that small steps compound into process power. Communicates clearly with non-technical people, and pushes back when something is wrong.
The salary range for this role is 4100€-4500€ gross monthly.
