As a SQL Reporting Specialist you will be a detail-oriented and adept professional, primarily focusing on crafting and optimising SQL queries for effective data analysis and report generation. Collaborating closely with various teams and clients, you will play a critical role in supporting our organisational objectives by ensuring the delivery of high-quality reports that aid in decision-making and operational efficiency.

About the role

Responsibilities:

  • Craft SQL queries to collect data and generate reports for both our clients and internal stakeholders. 

  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to understand reporting requirements and ensure the accuracy of reports. 

  • Continuously improve the performance and efficiency of SQL queries. 

  • Update and maintain report documentation as necessary to ensure current and relevant content. 

  • Guarantee high quality and timely delivery of all reports. 

  • Identify and solve any issues related to SQL query performance or report generation. 

Requirements:

  • Education in Finance, Accounting, or related field. 

  • Prior experience in writing SQL queries for reporting purposes. 

  • Solid understanding of financial analysis and reporting principles. 

  • Experience with reporting tools and software (Power BI, Tableau).  

  • Ability to analyse and understand business processes. 

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. 

  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
