As a SQL Reporting Specialist you will be a detail-oriented and adept professional, primarily focusing on crafting and optimising SQL queries for effective data analysis and report generation. Collaborating closely with various teams and clients, you will play a critical role in supporting our organisational objectives by ensuring the delivery of high-quality reports that aid in decision-making and operational efficiency.
About the role
Responsibilities:
Craft SQL queries to collect data and generate reports for both our clients and internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to understand reporting requirements and ensure the accuracy of reports.
Continuously improve the performance and efficiency of SQL queries.
Update and maintain report documentation as necessary to ensure current and relevant content.
Guarantee high quality and timely delivery of all reports.
Identify and solve any issues related to SQL query performance or report generation.
Requirements:
Education in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Prior experience in writing SQL queries for reporting purposes.
Solid understanding of financial analysis and reporting principles.
Experience with reporting tools and software (Power BI, Tableau).
Ability to analyse and understand business processes.
Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
