This is a commercial role, not just a support role. You'll own a portfolio of insurance clients end-to-end: the relationship, the renewal, and the expansion number. You're the person clients call when they want to do more with Insly - and you're the one who spots the opportunity before they do. If your strongest examples are about ticket SLAs and CSAT scores rather than accounts you've grown, this isn't the role for you.
You will work closely with the Client Delivery Lead, Implementation Specialists, and technical teams to plan and steer delivery with an IT project manager’s mindset: scoping work, managing dependencies, tracking risks, and keeping projects on time and on budget. At senior level, you will also back up the Client Delivery Lead when needed and mentor Account Managers.
This role sits at the intersection of customer relationship management, IT project delivery, and AI-driven innovation - ideal for someone who enjoys translating technical capability (including emerging AI capabilities) into real business value.
What You’ll Do:
Own the commercial health of your accounts – grow key customer relationships, spot risks and opportunities for upsell and cross-sell, be a trusted advisor for full customer lifecycle.
Lead customer communication, planning and review meetings, keeping work aligned to business goals.
Plan and run delivery with the Client Delivery Lead and technical teams – defining scope, milestones, dependencies and timelines.
Manage risks and change requests – take full responsibility of your client delivery.
Reporting and billing – give status updates and run monthly billing.
Use AI tools fluently in your own work – drafting, summarising, reporting, meeting prep and actively look for ways to apply AI to improve how the team delivers. When you spot a better way to do something – drive it to execution!
Turn AI capability into customer value – spot where AI features can solve real problems for clients, shape them into concrete initiatives with the product and implementation team and make the business case understandable for your customers.
At senior level, set the standard – mentor Account Managers and model what an AI-first, continuously improving way of working looks like in practice.
What You’ll Bring:
Proven experience in B2B Account Management, Customer Success, or IT/SaaS project delivery.
Experience managing complex, long-term customer relationships and multi-stream delivery.
Practical IT project management skills: scoping, planning, risk and dependency management, status reporting.
Strong stakeholder management and senior customer-facing communication.
Solid understanding of IT systems, SaaS delivery and how modern AI tools work.
Active use of AI tools in your work today and a habit of looking for new ways to apply AI to improve processes and outcomes.
Confidence translating technical and AI capability into business value.
Excellent organisational, prioritisation and problem-solving skills.
Experience supporting renewals, upsell, or account growth.
Fluency in English; familiarity with Jira or similar tools.
Insurance industry experience is a plus, not required.
