As an Account Executive at Insly, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying, securing, and managing client relationships through a consultative sales approach, with a focus on acquiring new customers among small and medium-sized businesses. You'll drive efforts to expand our global presence while contributing to the overall growth strategy.

In this role, you will leverage your proven B2B sales experience, deep understanding of SaaS, and consultative selling skills to showcase the value of Insly’s platform to potential customers. Combining technical expertise with a solutions-driven mindset, you will engage with clients worldwide, understand their unique challenges, and deliver tailored solutions that align with their goals. You'll build strong relationships with key stakeholders, establish trust, and close impactful deals that drive meaningful results.

About the role

Key responsibilities: 

  • Sales and Business Development 

    • Drive the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting to closing. 

    • Identify and qualify potential customers through research, networking, and outreach. 

    • Apply a MEDDPICC-based methodology to navigate and succeed in complex B2B sales processes.

    • Develop customised proposals and presentations to demonstrate product value aligned with customer needs. 

    • Strong consultative approach around client’s needs and problems. 

  • Technical Expertise 

    • Understand and articulate the technical features and benefits of Insly's platform to diverse audiences. 

    • Conduct product demos, answer technical questions, and address client concerns effectively. 

    • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to communicate customer feedback and influence roadmap decisions. 

  • Customer Engagement and Relationship Management 

    • Build strong relationships with business leaders, managers, and other decision-makers. 

    • Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring clients derive maximum value from the platform. 

  • Collaboration and Reporting 

    • Collaborate with marketing, product, and support teams to optimise the sales process. 

    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM tools. 

 

Qualifications and requirements: 

  • Proven experience in technical sales or account management roles, minimum 3 years, preferably in SaaS or InsurTech. 

  • Strong understanding of SaaS platforms, cloud-based solutions, and workflows in SMEs with complex operational needs. 

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. 

  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets. 

  • Proficiency with CRM tools and sales analytics platforms. 

  • Excellent written and spoken English, with strong listening skills. 

  • Willingness to work across time zones and travel as necessary.
