As Account Executive at Insly, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying, securing, and managing client relationships through a consultative sales approach, with a focus on acquiring new customers among small and medium-sized businesses. You'll drive efforts to expand our global presence while contributing to the overall growth strategy.

In this role, you will leverage your proven B2B sales experience, deep understanding of SaaS, and consultative selling skills to showcase the value of Insly’s platform to potential customers. Combining technical expertise with a solutions-driven mindset, you will engage with clients worldwide, understand their unique challenges, and deliver tailored solutions that align with their goals. You'll build strong relationships with key stakeholders, establish trust, and close impactful deals that drive meaningful results.

About the role

Key responsibilities: 

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Own the full sales process from prospecting to closing, with a focus on consultative selling and solution-based sales strategies. Lead complex sales cycles (typically 6 months) to close deals with clients in the insurance industry.

  • Technical Expertise & Consultation: Leverage your technical expertise to understand client needs, provide tailored solutions, and communicate complex product features in a way that resonates with non-technical stakeholders.

  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders, particularly C-level executives, to ensure successful deal closures and customer satisfaction.

  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with the product, marketing, and implementation teams to ensure a seamless and positive client experience.

  • Market Intelligence & Reporting: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs, and provide feedback to the product and sales teams. Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts.

 

Requirements: 

  • Sales Experience: 5+ years of experience in technical or enterprise sales, preferably in a SaaS environment. Demonstrated success in managing complex and consultative sales cycles.

  • Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of SaaS platforms, ideally in the insurtech or technology space. Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms to a variety of audiences.

  • C-Level Engagement: Proven ability to speak and sell to C-level executives, understanding their business needs and aligning solutions to achieve strategic goals.

  • Patience & Persistence: Experience managing lengthy sales cycles (6+ months) and a patient, persistent approach to closing high-value deals.

  • Startup & Team Fit: A self-starter with a hands-on approach and a flexible mindset. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment with a collaborative, youthful, and innovative team.
