We are seeking a skilled PHP/Laravel Software Developer to join our agile team. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality web applications that are scalable, secure, and user-friendly. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet our clients' needs and drive innovation in the insurance industry.

About the role

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.

  • Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements.

  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration with third-party services.

  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.

  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following best practices.

  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in PHP development, with a strong focus on the Laravel framework.

  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Experience with SQL databases, particularly MySQL or PostgreSQL.

  • Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.

  • Understanding of MVC architecture and OOP principles.

  • Experience with unit testing and debugging.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Fluent English skills.
