This role is about turning customer needs into clean, scalable platform solutions. You'll own the technical implementation of Insly's platform for our customers - configuring, customising, and problem-solving your way through onboardings and enhancements, and making sure what you build holds up over time.
You will work closely with the Implementation Lead, Implementation Specialists, Client Delivery Leads, and Account Managers to deliver high-quality technical outcomes. At senior level, you will also mentor Junior and Mid-level Implementation Specialists and contribute to the technical quality bar across the squad.
This role sits at the intersection of platform configuration, customer-facing technical delivery, and AI-driven innovation — ideal for someone who enjoys translating business requirements into scalable platform solutions and using AI to do it better.
What You’ll Do:
Configure and customise Insly's platform - translating customer business and functional requirements into scalable, best-practice product configurations.
Act as the primary technical implementer in the cross-functional delivery squad, supporting onboarding, implementation and enhancement activities.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and configuration issues.
Participate in customer-facing technical discussions, providing clear and credible explanations.
Own quality, testing and deployment - validating configurations, identifying defects before go-live, and contributing to predictable releases.
Use AI tools fluently in your own work - configuration analysis, documentation, test scenario generation, troubleshooting and meeting prep. Actively look for ways to apply AI to improve how the team implements. When you spot a better way to do something - drive it to execution!
Turn AI capability into customer value - spot where AI features can solve real problems for clients, shape them into concrete configuration approaches with the product team, and make the business case understandable for your customers.
At senior level, set the standard - mentor Junior and Mid-level Implementation Specialists and model what an AI-first, continuously improving way of working looks like in practice.
What You’ll Bring:
Proven experience implementing SaaS or enterprise software solutions in customer-facing technical delivery roles.
Strong platform configuration and customisation skills - ideally on a no-code or low-code platform, JSON-schema-driven systems, or similar configurable software.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities - getting to the root cause rather than patching symptoms.
Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Clear and confident technical communication, comfortable in customer-facing discussions.
Solid understanding of IT systems, SaaS delivery and how modern AI tools work.
Active use of AI tools in your work today and a habit of looking for new ways to apply AI to improve processes and outcomes.
Confidence translating technical and AI capability into business value.
Experience mentoring or supporting junior technical team members.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and repeatability.
Fluency in English; familiarity with Jira or similar tools.
Insurance industry experience is a plus, not required.
